Outtakes from a photoshoot.

Lace mantilla veil

Yesterday I was browsing through my old photographs on my laptop and I looked through photos of photoshoots from years gone by.

I posted them on my Social media pages and I got so many comments on them I thought I would post them here too.

They are from a simple photoshoot in my garden in 2012, there is just me & Emma in my garden, so no pressure, just an "easy" day of shooting new styles of veils I had made at the time.

I love to take my own candid photos on my phone when I am at photoshoots as they always maake me smile as I remember the chaos that these shoots can bring.

Emma always did her own hair & makeup as she was a contril freak where that was concerend. She was my fit model and she knew how to display a veil properley, she often placed the veils herself as she was involved in Dream Veils from the very beginning samples, so she knew what to do.

These veils featured are all short veils, but I can make any length a bride wants.

They feature mantillas with lace that has since  sold out, however I have lots of other beautiuful laces in stock which can be made in the same style.

Just browse my site to see all the styles of veils I can make.

Contact me for any further help.

So we are here, January 2022. I thought 2020 was a disater for the wedding industry, but for me 2021 was the worst. I think couples were so weary of booking & cancelling that they either decided to get married without any ceremony or completely postpone until the pandemic is over. So far these first weeks of 2022 are looking good for me (AT LONG LAST) Ive had orders and even a consultation. However if these past 2 years are anything to go by I am not getting my hopes up. I LOVE making veils and I have been lost without them. Anyway less of the gloom and doom, here's to the new year, may we be like my bride above, Dorothea, getting married on a sundrenched beach, together with our families, happy, warm amd smiling. Happy New Year xxx
