So we are here, January 2022. I thought 2020 was a disater for the wedding industry, but for me 2021 was the worst. I think couples were so weary of booking & cancelling that they either decided to get married without any ceremony or completely postpone until the pandemic is over. So far these first weeks of 2022 are looking good for me (AT LONG LAST) Ive had orders and even a consultation. However if these past 2 years are anything to go by I am not getting my hopes up. I LOVE making veils and I have been lost without them. Anyway less of the gloom and doom, here's to the new year, may we be like my bride above, Dorothea, getting married on a sundrenched beach, together with our families, happy, warm amd smiling.
