The satin bound cape which ties aound the neck.

wedding cape

Here is Christine wearing her two layer cape. It just ties around the neck.

Christin first saw the sample of this cape which is a short version.

Above is the original sample I made, Emma my beautiful daughter & corporate model is modeling it for me.

Christine wanted to have the bottom layer long so to give her a train,  it was made to her order.

I can make these layers exactly what the bride wants, so you can have a truly bespoke item.

Another really great use for these capes are that it can be a cover up if the bride feels her dress exposes her decolete or arms.

I do make a few different syles of capes and the can really enhance a dress. They can have lace around exactly like a veil, the sky's the limit! I can also put Swarovski crystals dotted over the tulle, add that extra sparkle ! Geat if the dress is simple.

Just contact me with your ideas if this could be what your looking for.

My beautiful daughter Emma.

So we are here, January 2022. I thought 2020 was a disater for the wedding industry, but for me 2021 was the worst. I think couples were so weary of booking & cancelling that they either decided to get married without any ceremony or completely postpone until the pandemic is over. So far these first weeks of 2022 are looking good for me (AT LONG LAST) Ive had orders and even a consultation. However if these past 2 years are anything to go by I am not getting my hopes up. I LOVE making veils and I have been lost without them. Anyway less of the gloom and doom, here's to the new year, may we be like my bride above, Dorothea, getting married on a sundrenched beach, together with our families, happy, warm amd smiling. Happy New Year xxx
