Please can I thank Jamie from Vickerstaff Photography for these fantastic photos

Hannah's full wedding is now featured on the fab blog -- Love My Dress
All photos of Hannah are with thanks to Rachelle Simoneau

Here is the complete collection along with the inspirations, stories and ideas I had to make them .
The Mary Veil

My main inspiration was my Mum's veil from 1935.. shown below...

Mary and Arthur Toomer- August 1935

A little sneaky peek at the "Mary" veil used in a photoshoot- recently- more photos to follow!

There an be some variations to this veil--- I have used the small straight Spanish lace on the above example but I could use the Guipure lace--- or ribbons as per photos below. Also this veil is a two layer veil and the lace could be sewn all around the edge too.-This example has a cut edge.

The above two photos were taken by Marcus from Bigeye photography-- Thank you so much Marcus--- see below for more piccies of this veil

The small guipure lace                                                           Ribbon- in  Purple and small bows !!

I am going to call this veil "The Mary Veil" after my mum, and also in dedication to a beautiful girl who has been taken away from us far too young. This is for you too Maryxx

The Jaime Veil

Then I have created a one layer veil but with a tulle cap on top, it has an organza ribbon with Swarovski banding on and bows on each side.  The ribbon can be worn either across the forehead or up on the head.

I am going to call this "The Jaime Veil" (after my beautiful and fab daughter-in-law xx)

The Hannah Veil.

This veil was commissioned by Hannah (and so named for her) -  to be made for her wedding-  from a 1970's pattern she had sourced. It is two veils sewn together and a circular shape sewn into it made specifically for a coronet to be placed over.

The original pattern and                The "Hannah" veil- changed slightly from the original to give a longer blusher which will fold over when not needed similar to a normal veil.

AND HERE............ the real Hannah in the veil that was commissioned by her.....Hannah's veil was in Honey gold.

The Wendy Veil

The Wendy veil is made from the straight Spanish lace- it has a shaped & gathered feature above the ears which forms the cap.
